Tag-O-Rama

One distinct impression I had of NECC this year was that community and social networking were all the rage. Educational technology providers seemed to be falling all over themselves trying to incorporate Web 2.0 elements into their products. One session I particularly enjoyed was one given on EdTags an effort by some Harvard doctorial students. You can view the session here (registration required).

There was also an interesting session on free Web resources which included a discussion on del.icio.us a social bookmarking site. Not one to be left too far behind, I have started a Perspective del.icio.us page here. Unfortunately, I am wary of providing links to other commercial Web sites. Perhaps one of you can develop a broader list than I am able to.
